The Materials Selection Process
From material inlet to final flow, our sorting process integrates advanced optical technologies, artificial intelligence, and precision mechanical systems. Each step is designed to ensure accurate analysis, identify materials and impurities, and optimize the quality and purity of the sorted material, ensuring efficiency and reliability throughout the entire production line.
Incoming and Preparation
The collected material is delivered to the plant and undergoes an initial pre-treatment phase. This phase involves the removal of bulky waste, preliminary separation, and uniform distribution on the conveyor belt to ensure the flow is ready for optical analysis.
Analysis and Recognition
Thanks to artificial intelligence systems, multispectral vision, and advanced sensors, each particle is examined in real time. The technology identifies the type of material—plastic, paper, metal, glass, or mixed fractions—distinguishing even between very similar variants and detecting any contaminants.
Targeted Separation
Once the materials are identified, compressed air ejection systems or mechanical solutions divert them into the correct flows. This step ensures extremely precise separation, creating homogeneous fractions and minimizing waste.
Output and Valorization
The selected materials are collected and sent to the final processing stage: plastic for washing and granulation, paper for baling, and metal for smelting. The result is a high-quality secondary raw material, ready to be reintroduced into the production cycle and contribute to a more circular and sustainable economy.
